Pesto Chicken Supreme Pizza
Pesto is the best! It's one of my favorite sauces. Take it up a notch and turn it into a pizza. Combine it with chicken, basil, ricotta, mozzarella, and tomatoes. Now, we're talking. This comes together in less than 30 minutes. It's an ideal pizza for any weeknight or weekend.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1 (13.8 oz) container refrigerated classic pizza crust
- 1/4 cup pesto sauce (store bought or homemade)
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- Fresh basil leaves, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Prepare pizza pan or baking sheet and coat with nonstick spray. Set aside.
- Sprinkle cornmeal on a flat surface. Roll out pizza crust dough to about a 12-inch diameter round shape. Transfer to pizza pan.
- Evenly layer the spread pesto sauce on dough. Top with mozzarella, ricotta, chicken and tomatoes. Transfer to oven.
- Place into oven and bake at 450°F for 15-20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
- Serve immediately. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
