Lemons are known to have many health benefits. It provides most of our daily dose of Vitamin C and other things too. It also gives a lot of amazing flavor to meals. It’s quickly become one of my favorite fruits. Here are some reasons I found why this fruit is so super:
🍋 Lemon juice aids digestion by cleansing the liver. Starting your day off with some lemon water has its cleansing benefits.
🍋 Lemon provides at least 88% daily dose of Vitamin C.
🍋 It has antibacterial and antifungus properties to help treat acne.
🍋 The smell of lemon can help reduce anxiety and stress. Increases focus.
🍋 Flavonoids in lemon help improve blood vessel function and help reduce inflammation.
🍋 Energizes the body. Boosts brainpower, metabolism and immune system.
🍋 Relieves dehydration, sore throats, and heartburn.
There are other benefits too. Too many to name but these are the ones I think are the coolest. All the more reason this citrus fruit is a health superhero. Reap it’s health benefits.
