For the Dry Rub:
- In a bowl, combine brown sugar, kosher salt, onion powder, chili powder, ground mustard, smoked paprika, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, ground pepper, cumin and cayenne pepper. Mix spices together. Set aside.
For the Ribs:
- Rinse ribs and pat dry with a paper towel. Remove any fat membrane from bottom of rack of ribs. Season ribs with dry rub mixture on both sides.
- Add apple juice in pressure cooker. Place metal trivet in pot and put ribs upright wrapping in a circle.
- Place lid on pressure cooker. Select "Manual/Pressure Cook" setting. Adjust pressure to "high". Set time for 25 minutes and set spout to "sealing".
- Preheat broiler on oven. Line a backing sheet with aluminum foil. Set aside.
- After finished, do a "quick-release" according to manufacturer's instructions. Place ribs on prepared baking sheet. Brush 2 cups of barbecue sauce over ribs until well coated.
- Place into oven and broil for about 5 minutes until sauce caramelizes.
- Serve immediately. Add remaining barbecue sauce over ribs.
