Ingredients

  • 1 lb skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 3 oz deli ham
  • garlic powder, to taste
  • Kosher salt or ground pepper, to taste
  • Panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF. Prepare a baking sheet and lightly coat with nonstick spray. Place chicken on baking sheet.
  • Using a sharp knife, cut 5 slits into the chicken, about 3/4 inches apart. Make sure to not cut all the way through the chicken.
  • Cut pepper jack cheese into 4 squares. Slice ham into halves. Roll ham and cheese slices lengthwise. Place ham and cheese slices into slits of chicken.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder, Kosher salt, ground pepper and breadcrumbs evenly over chicken.
  • Place into oven and bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

*For more amazing flavor, let chicken marinate overnight in the fridge. Then, warm it up again in the microwave.
