Summer begins this week. Time get out the fruit and make a delicious smoothie to quench the summer thirst. Inspired by some of layered beverages from past cruises. This smoothie has some of the best fruit blends. It’s not only pretty, it’s easy to make.

Berry Sunrise Smoothie

Summer begins this week. Time get out the fruit and make a delicious smoothie to quench the summer thirst. Inspired by some of layered beverages from past cruises. This smoothie has some of the best fruit blends. It's not only pretty, it's easy to make.

Ingredients
  

For Bottom Layer:
  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/4 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup milk
For Top Layer:
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1/2 cup orange juice

Method
 

  1. In a blender, combine raspberries, strawberries and milk. Blend until smooth. Set aside.
  2. In a separate blender container, combine mangoes and orange juice. Blend until smooth and set aside.
  3. Prepare a glass or smoothie bottle. Pour berry mixture on bottom. Top it with mango/orange mixture. Garnish with a fresh or frozen raspberry.
  4. Serve immediately.
