Sheet Pan Bratwurst & Potatoes

Oktoberfest is happening now in Germany. It’s one of Germany’s biggest festivals and an important part of Bavarian culture. Bratwurst, boiled potatoes, späetzle and schnitzel are some of the traditional foods served at the festival. Inspired by a trip to Germany, this hearty and delicious sheet pan bratwurst and potato meal is ideal for busy nights. Prep work is quick and it’s ready in under 30 minutes. Absolutely delicious.

- 4-5 sausage or bratwurst links
- 4-5 baby red potatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 Fuji apple, sliced
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp fresh rosemary, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- Kosher salt & ground pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare a baking sheet and coat with nonstick spray. Set aside.
Chop red potatoes, onions and apple. Transfer to a medium bowl.
Add olive oil, rosemary, smoked paprika, oregano, Kosher salt and ground pepper. Toss vegetables and fruit until well coated.
Spread vegetables and fruit evenly on baking sheet. Push half of them to each side and lay sausage links in the middle.
Place into oven. Bake at 400°F for 30 minutes or until sausages cooked through and vegetables are tender.
Serve immediately.
